BBC Pacific Quay, Glasgow

BBC Pacific Quay, Glasgow is the BBC’s headquarters in Scotland. The new centre opened in 2007 and is one of the most modern, state of the art, digital broadcasting facilities in the world.

Paul Cayford engaged with the users to establish the brief, identified the site and created the initial masterplan feasibility to allow the site to be purchased.

Chipperfield Architects were appointed as architects in conjunction with Keppie. The area has now become the region’s thriving technology and media hub.

RIBA Award - 2008.
